Thanks to DU, I have also met a great person. Due to the miles that separate us, demanding jobs and elderly parent care responsibilities, we have not yet had the pleasure of meeting in person. That will come one day...plans for last summer did not come to fruition.

Although he no longers posts at DU, because of his penchant for privacy, he shall remain nameless. But...as he told me on the night he left...he was only leaving DU and never me.

(He's still a raging leftist, but got pissed off. Which is totally in character...though not with me.)

The evenings I spend talking with him have enriched my life immeasurably. He makes me laugh, he makes me happy.

It's a really beautiful thing- the two of you! The irony though in relation to old George is pretty thick and really funny.

As for my love life, we shall see if there's anything out there able to jump start it, but I'm not one to give up hope (thankfully) even if I'm in perpetual limbo at this point in my life.
