I just voted and wanted to check in and say thanks.

Thanks to everyone here who kept me informed. I did my best to be an activist and I hope it will help the outcome.

I just opened a letter from NAMI asking for help with Proposition 63 in California. Unfortunately, my mind has been on the national elections for president and senator and on the swing states.

Proposition 63 is near to my heart because I am one of those long-suffering patients whose benefits keep getting gutted. I signed the petition to get it on the ballot and voted yes, but now I wish I had sent them some money. Hopefully, the huge voter turnout of Dems in California will cause this proposition to pass. We need it desperately.

Vote yes on 63, please.

I'm off to Dem HQ to celebrate or mourn.

1. NAMI is a fabulous organization!

Our child psych teacher was the head of the child psych area of NAMI in Oklahoma City. We helped with the yearly conference and enjoyed it a lot. It needs to be seriously supported. Good luck!
