Which beer should I choose for tonight?
I live in a town where only one place sells beer and I've narrowed it down to Heineken (sp?), Sam Adams Draught, or Guinness Stout. I've never tried any of these. Any thoughts on which one is the best?

4. I like Sam Adams
but I am not the biggest beer drinker out there. I tend to like tequila too much!

5. Each will depend on your taste
Heineken = bland shit

Sam Adams = marginally better, but still not all that great

Guinness = you'd best like a beer that reached up and grabs you by the throat, but if you do, this is the one to go with

10. BTW, me, I'm making myself a hand-mixed margarita
Fresh organic lemons and limes, El Patron Anejo tequilla, salted glass, shaken and strained.

Oh the joy...

My choice is the Sam Adams. Besides it goes well with the Boston theme to tonight.

7. All are good...
But I would probably go with the Sam Adams - Guiness can be pretty strong to the uninitiated.

Heineken's alright, too, but Guinness is really an aquired taste I think. Don't try it unless you really like dark beer because you'll probably be running back to the store for something different.

I VOTED!

13. I vote Heineken.
Can't stand the taste of Guiness, have never tried Sam Adams.

Also, keep an eye out for Grolsch. It has a unique flip-top cap.. :)

14. Guinness
It's a heavy, dark beer. A bit bitter, with chocolate and coffee notes. Full body, thick rich head. If you mix it with a bass ale you'll have a "black and tan". That helps to lighten it a bit. Guiness is not for sissies.

16. If There's No Pete's "Celebration Ale"
You might want to try the most adventurous you think you'll like. Guinness is great but it can be a bit heavy if you're new to it. Sam Adams is a great amber, very flavorful, a little bitter. You can't beat Heineken for a mass-rewed pilsner.

If you're there for awhile, you might want to try each one.

17. SAM ADAMS
Go American! Sam Adams will bring Kerry good luck as it's brewed in Boston. I'm drinking it right now as we speak. Purchased just for the occasion.

ENJOY!

21. I guess you know what I'll say...
But it really depends upon what you want flavor-wise. Guinness is a stout...very heavy, not highly carbonated, and with a nice bite.

If you're looking for something less bitter, more carbonated, and more like a lager (I haven't tried the draught, but I suspect it's lighter in color and texture), go for the Sam Adams.

I've never been wild about Heinies.
