I meant what I said in my post last night to Terrya - your defense is to get a power of attorney and if you pm me, I will give you mine for free - the only cost will be for you to have it notarized (maximum of a few dollars in most states). It's a pretty good one, too. If you open joint accounts, you'll be covered. If one of you (God forbid) is hospitalized, the other can make those precious decisions usually reserved for "immediate family" - It's the only defense you have until these stupid amendments are overturned. Just let me know.

They have still not counted my vote, nor my husband's vote, nor my children's votes in Arizona, just because they were mail ballots! PLEASE DO NOT BECOME ACCEPTING OF THEM NOT COUNTING VOTES! I want my vote counted! The mail ballots have also not been counted in Florida, where my other kids voted. How could Kerry concede before the votes were counted? What did they do threaten his kids? What could have made him concede before the votes were counted? Who said elections have to be decided the next day? I say elections have to include counting all the votes. And do you think your vote was counted? That depends, doesn't it, on how you voted. If you voted on Diebold, your vote was not counted, as is evidenced by the exit polls. If you voted by mail they didn't even open your ballot. It was a complete farce. They are very happy we are docile enough to travel the emotional roller coaster you describe and end up at "a low grade anger" and a "certain level of acceptance" within only 24 hours. Please do not become accepting of them not counting our votes. Heal my ass. I personally am not getting over this one. It seems it is so easy to overthrow America I am surprised it took so long for some scum bag to do it. Americans have to strike. Sell all your stock, don't go to work, don't pay your bills, don't pay your taxes, don't consume, and run naked in the streets until they count our votes. I think we have a good case for not filing income taxes, since taxation without representation is unconstitutional. Howza bout we organize a boycott on taxation for people whose votes weren't counted? But we still need to strike at work and run naked in the streets.
