Admittedly my freeper-dar isn't all that good ... I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and if I see something suspicious I just move on (although I usually only hang out in the lounge).

Last night anyone who got upset or began losing faith before the night was over was branded a freeper. Tensions and emotions were (and still are, but are getting better) very high. I'm sure a lot of people said irrational things in their frustration. It doesn't mean they are freepers.

people don't get banned over a single incident, unless it is a real whopper.

People who were banned last night didn't get banned because they were upset or pissed about the election.

People who were banned last night either had a history to which the mods and admin were privy and we aren't, or they outright posted conservative talking points.

Could someone please tell me what the heck a 'Freeper' is?

I have heard this term used in many of the threads on the forum, usually in a derogatory fashion, and I was wondering what it meant.
