2. And you have to love The Sun
which claims that now that the US has single party rule, and George is more popular than Reagan, W can emerge as a great president.

Kissing Ass

This is a rag that makes its bones with a T&A show. Once the fundies expand their empire beyond our shores and infect Europe with their brand of "morality", the Sun editors will end up in the towers with chains for sins against God because they have naked women on their pages.

So there are more than 59,054,087 dumbasses on this planet.

3. Ah, no you don't
The Sun is a squalid little crap-pushing Murdoch mouthpiece. No one here with a brain takes it seriously.

4. The columns on either side of the Chimp are "fasces",
a symbol from ancient Rome, from which the fascists take their name.
They are bundles of wood, symbolising strength through unity.

10. That's a parody of the Lincoln Memorial...
and the fasces are in the real thing (also, a fasces was on the US ten-cent coin until 1946).

5. Steve Bell cartoons can convey the honest, perfect, exact truth without
a single word. I think he's captured the situation perfectly with this one.
