I sat around in the clothes I had worn the night before and yelled whenever someone tried to turn on the television. My blood pressure can't handle CNN.

My mom wept, which was unusual and horrible to see. She didn't even cry at her mother's funeral, to put this into perspective.

5. I had a premonition that this just wasn't going to happen for us

4. for my part, i did not turn on any of the news channels and have not since

election night ... i will not turn on any of the news channels, i am sick and tired of their whoring.. and, a friend whose husband was in the habit of turning on the television at 7PM to the likes of MSNB, CNN and possibly FOX NEWS tells me he told her last night that he was quite tired of the dammed whole thing, said he didn't even want to talk about it, said he would not turn on the tv on for a good while to come and he and my friend went out to walk instead.

6. I couldn't bear going into work yesterday (some may think I wussed out

as there was seven of us there; 2 (including myself) voted Dem and the rest are freepers (the only reason I know this is I've been working there for over 5 years and was around the last go-around and they're vocal about who they support. I wore my pajamas from the night before until 9 pm yesterday and cried, ranted and raged on DU all day. I was a depressed mess and my stomach was all screwed up.
