Why my 84 year old Russian mother in law thought Bush would win.

1. Nope. Just more overworked, underpaid AND UNINFORMED people...
They're not stupid. We just need to frame the debate for them.

4. Gotta agree there ...
there are many more smart people in America than Stupid people. Unfortunately more Stupid people voted, than smart.

I will never admit that I am in the minority.

Cheers

6. We are though.
I became convinced of that Tuesday. That's why I'm leaving. We are in the minority, and I don't belong here anymore.

2.  Bless your lovely mother
she is smarter than the 51% who "voted" for Chief Chickenhawk and the countless others who didn't vote, who are either idiots or cowards. Probably both.

10. Both
It's both. You have to be an idiot to let unreasonable fear drive your life. So, you can't be in need of Li'l Georgie as protector out of fear, and not be an idiot for being that fearful.

3. Me, too.
Not that I thought it would necessarily be honest -- but there's the requirement of a certain amount of intellectual curiosity to question the validity of E-voting and all that, too. Thanks to the 'dumb down' of our public school system, a certain (integral) percentage of our population that would have learned critical thinking in school is failing to learn it.

And I agree in concept, but I think it's more willful ignorance. We've become a majority population of ostriches, with our heads jammed down into the sand, allowing ourselves to be petted by empty suits and ministers, and told 'it's okay, we'll tell you what the world is like.'

Present company excepted, of course!

5. Hmmm which is it really
Were there more 'stupid' people (ie the people we want to vote with us but didn't so we call them stupid and alienate them further) OR was it vote fraud?

9. It was BOTH.
People that REFUSE to educate and inform themselves and thus voluntarily vote against their own interests ARE stupid.

7. Ken Kesey once said . . .
And the other thought, the second thought, the warrior thought, the hard thought, the final thought, which is that we ain't many. In any given situation, there is always gonna be more dumb people than smart people! We ain't many.

8. Not only more stupid, but
more greedy, more selfish, more arrogant, more just plain bad people than any of us had ever dreaded in our worst nightmares.

And the whole world suffers because Amerika exists.
