2. No. It's a hereditary dictatorship
Like Syria.

Not like the UK. Or any of the other constitutional monarchies in Europe.

3. Deibold will make it so.
American democracy was wounded in 1886 with corporate personhood. On Dec 12, 2000 it took another dreadful blow, with the supreme court selection of the president. But on Nov 2, 2004, American democracy took a bullet in the heart.

4. Many have said that that will not happen.
They can't get the trifecta. But it is time to get the right kind of Democrats in. We need new blood in our party to combat this. We need to become a new machine that can run the gammit. Not the party of Carter, Clinton or Kerry. No offense to these people, but we need to take a new direction.

9. I am hoping for a scandal or a conglomeration
of scandals that will come to light that will permanently prevent any member of that family from being even considered for a position of power, ever again.

12. They Are 100% Scandal-Proof. Nothing Will Ever Stick To Them
We'd all love to see the administration go down in another Watergate,
but it's not going to happen. They own the House, the Senate, and
the Supreme Court. This election demonstrates clearly that they
will never be held accountable for anything by anybody.

They also own the news. Dozens of scandals, each worse than Watergate,
have happened in this administration with barely a wimper in the news.

The CIA has even rolled over. Presumably all those elements capable
of making any trouble for the regime have been dealt with now that
Goss has taken over.

10. It's True. They Can sElect Whoever They Want Now.
and many Dems will spend the next four years figuring out which of our
core constituancies we should throw to the lions to try to beat him.
It will never work.

We can never win another election as long as those voting machinez
are in place.
