Died or was killed while in office. How about a jackass that steals his way in and is serving another term connected to the "0" ending year in office.

Can it possibly take place in a pResidents unelected second term in office if he started in a year ending in "0"?

17. Not to mention Wall Street and their lousy predictor
On the other hand, consider that they probably did still predict the votes cast.

9. Raygun and Shrub can't be killed -- they were already brain-dead
when first put into office.

It's as if the Curse was preparing to strike at them and said, "uh, what do I do? There's no 'there' there!"

8. Reagan broke the Tecumseh Curse

though it was a close call

http://americanhistory.about.com/cs/uspresidents/a/tecumcurse1.htm

Lincoln and Garfield were assassinated in their second terms.

FDR was elected in 1932 and 1936 before 1940 and then died after being relected in 1944.

Of course Shrub wasn't actually elected in 2000,

11. Reagan did not break the curse
Astrologically speaking - the planets were not aligned properly for him to die - but he was seriously hurt. Bush on the other hand is astrologically prepared to die in office.

So to speak.

My grandmother always said that if you ate cherries and milk together, you'd die. But never would tell us why.

Now I know. Thanks.
