The longer answer is that liberals certainly won in any number of states: Oregon, for example. Every Democratic congressman up for reelection polled 60%, including David Wu and Darlene Hooley, who were supposed to be in tight, tight, tight races. The Oregon Senate went back to the Democrats for the first time in many years. The three statewide offices up for election were all retained by Democrats. Yes, the constitutional ban on gay marriage passed, 57-43, but the same sex marriages already performed are not affected by the ballot measure, and there's every reason to believe that the ban will be overturned on federal constitutional grounds (that darned "equal protection" clause, which judges keep saying applies to all citizens).

Portland also saw a street protest last night, with hundreds demonstrating against the gangster regime, and we're planning for the new legislative session. If these corrupt fuckers want my country, they're going to know they've been in a fight for it, and I have no intention of giving up easily or ceding one precious iota of my liberties and freedoms.
