Why the hell is Al Franken spending most of the hour with Daryl Whoreley?

Couple more shows like this, and Al will have lost a listener. I'm on the razor edge right now. I have WORT (local) to listen to instead.

Gosh, Al. Thanks for apologizing for him. I guess it was my fault I misunderstood the poor man...

I might just turn it off until 2pm...maybe I will...

Everytime anyone he went on a tour with comes on the show, he goes over the same stories.

I really don't need to hear Whorely sing about Osama bin Laden, and how we need revenge against Iraq.

I'm usually a big fan of Al, but today is a bit much...

6. He and Daryl did a USO tour together last Christmas, and

came away from it as friends, with a greater understanding of the various points of view in this country re: the war on terra. I'm not listening to AAR, so I can't speak to what Al is saying now, but he wrote a nice piece about it a few months back, in Vanity Fair, I think.
