Funny story re: evangelicals and their "values" |
My best friend's brother is a former fundie pastor and past president of a state chapter of the old moral majority. I won't name names or the state. He noticed his mother had 2 valid voter registration cards so he talked her into going to vote at each poll, he even drove her to both of them. Instead of voting for Bush (like he believes she will) she voted Kerry.

1. It is not only a moral issue, I think it is a federal crime to vote twice |
But it wouldn't suprise me if the right-wing fundies voted early and often. They don't even know what it means to have moral values!

A Christian Youth Minister charged with sexual battery on a 15 year old. Praise the Lord and pass the values.

3. That happened to me once, when I lived in the UK |
I voted at one and turned in my polling card personally to the other, so no-one could use it to vote. The poll worker looked really surprised at my honesty. At least some of us hold the values of democracy sacred.
