Weird. New Zealand did (sort of) send troops to Iraq.

The New Zealand government disagreed with its antipodean neighbour, Australia, and did not support the war in principle. However, New Zealand sent a group of non-combatant engineers to "help rebuild Iraq" and this group is currently based with British forces in the southern Iraqi city of Basrah, helping to rebuild infastructure there. There were major anti-war demonstrations in Wellington and Auckland.<1>

After all, every single US soldier is in Iraq or Afghanistan, anyhoo.
