Does anyone have an MP3 of the lead singer of Soft Cell's auto accident? |
|
They have the CD at the local Tower Records, but they want $24.99 for it, because it's an import.

2. Thanks! The irony is, I'm a huge Marc Almond fan. |
|
I have almost all of his albums, including ones which were only released in England. I used to correspond with the guy who ran his official website.
Glad you got a kick out of my random idiocy.

3. You know, I'm really, really drunk |

but shit-ass dammit, hell yeah I got a laugh out of that. I'm abso-fucking-lutely shocked that nobody has popped in to give you a Miss Fucking Manners etiquette lecture and start a flamewar. Come to think of it, not really so much shocked. Disappointed is more the proper term. So here I go, kicking the thread again. Trying to throw some gas on this potential raging inferno...

5. No, I don't! You got me beat... |

I only have the albums, alas. Well, those and a few odd MP3s I picked up when I used to use Napster, like Marc's cover of Madonna's "Like a Prayer," which is friggin' awesome.

6. Check out his version of "Paint it Black" with the London Symph. |
|
Or his cover of Brels' "Jackie".
The thing about Marc Almond, is he's so terrible, he's perfect.

Trevor Horn's production on "Jackie" is excellent.

I thought maybe they'd done an over-the-top remake of Warm Leatherette.

Warm Leatherette melts, On your burning flesh, You can see your reflection, On the luminescent dash.
