New Music Recommendation threads - Post your fav new artists here
I'm digging Damian Rice's new (and first CD) "O". I discovered Damian Rice when I was at WXPN's Singer/Songwriter festival and fell in love with his music. He's from Ireland and he has a very soulful musical style.

So what new artists do you recommend??!!!

9. Los Lonely Boys
Band from Texas, sounds of Richie Valens, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Santana all rolled into one band of young brothers. Willie Nelson has adopted them and is touring with them. Very tight unit with great harmonies - check them out:

11. North Mississippi All Stars.

I bought their new album, Polaris, this weekend. It is very good. These guys are a true rock n' roll band of the likes you rarely hear these days. Luther Dickinson plays a mean guitar.

13. John Mayer
I saw John Mayer in concert in Houston with Maroon 5 and The Counting Crows. John Mayer's new CD just came out and it is great. He has matured and it shows in the lyrics and music. He has brought new instruments in. Anyway, check it out. It's great.
