I personally would want no part of the Democratic party if it abandoned its most important core ideals, those being compassion and fighting for equality for all...I thought that was how most DUers felt too, but that shitstorm in GD is enough to make one wonder. All I know is, the day the Democratic party sells out and abandons the GLBT community is the day I'm done.
