The daily show is making me cry. |
|
I had quit today, but seeing Bush spew his garbage is making me realise again how much I can't take him for 4 more years. I can tell from his attitude that he knows he really didn't win.

3. Lewis Black actually makes Jon Stewart not look as pissed |
|
as he obviously is. I wonder if Mel Gibson will send him two cigars?

5. I object to the comments about the midwest |
|
Minnesota is in the midwest and we did the right thing!
I felt the same way last night when Tom Brokaw (on Letterman) said the Democrats have to stop being the "party of the coasts". When did Wisconsin and Minnesota become part of any coast? (Outside of the Great Lakes, of course).

13. Brokaw is from one of the Dakotas, not one of the coasts. |
|
(Well, Dakota not coastal unless there was one whupp ass earthquake I missed, which is entirely possible for me today)

That's what I'm doing. I'm on a steady diet of comedy, history, gay guys dressing straight guys, and folks performing ghastly "improvements" on their neighbors' homes.
Fu*k the "news" shows. They conspired with the GOP and gave us four more years of this Hell.

19. I'm watching hanna barbara cartoons |
|
and they are more intellectually stimulating than the news programs.
The first I have seen of the punk dictator was on the daily show and I was absolutely dumbfounded. I thought it must have been a joke but it wasn't really funny. I have a feeling that after people see that display of arrogance, a great many of them will be wishing they had their vote back. But besides that, he is starting off absolutely the way I like to see. I hope his mandate is egging him on inaguration day.
And does it seem to anyone else that a great many people who lied to get bush elected are now kinda looking sort of sheepish. Like what the hell do we do now that he is in again?
