The pharmaceutical spectrum of booze - recommendations?
I'm taking this pretty bad. Not grief -- just stunned that 50% of Americans chose to throw away democracy with both hands and embraced fascism, and well-informed enough to know kinda just how disastrous the consequences of this election will be....and let's not even mention the usual stuff i have do get through daily....

I think a good dosing with the **right** kinda alcohol will be cathartic. I sure need to get these strong emotions out of my system, as I am ready to rip the faces off anyone who claims to have voted for "moral values" when their little chimp is the most brazen liar in history (and that's up against strong competition).

I know nothing is better than Scotch for grief and shock. Some kinds of wine are calming; some kinds of wine make us feel unity with our fellow human beings.

Can anyone recommend something that is cathartic, vaguely numbing, but packs a powerful afterpunch of dutch courage as I ready myself for confrontation with the pigs who have hijacked our political system?

1. I drink water. . .
I take my reality straight up, even if it isn't 'neat'. Sorry I can't help you.

6. my trouble is...
can't smoke what's out there. I MIGHT indulge if I have to submit to, say, a back alley shoulder replacement surgery (FUCKING HELL-- arthritis has gotten very bad very quickly and even at a young age I am losing function and no medical insurance in sight). That is heartening to know that goon dope might effectively work when access to state of the art anaethesiology is out of the question.

Thanks, pal.
