Anyone else receive DU snail mail opened and then taped? |
|
Mine was opened. A strip of white tape was applied and it was sliced through and then a strip of clear tape was applied over that. Wonder why anyone would want to open my mail???Twice!

I don't have the fortitude to lick 700 envelopes, and using a sponge is just too messy, so I just put a piece of scotch tape on there.
Some of the envelopes had two pieces of tape, including a one sliced tape because I had to slice them open to replace the letter inside. I didn't want to throw away the 37 cent stamp stuck to the envelope.
Sorry if I alarmed you.

4. not alarmed - just curious |

And licking that many envelopes is awful - especially if you get hold of the ones that have that glue that tastes sooooo horrid. Thanks.

I solely donated so that I could get a personally licked envelope. I was planning on making 10,000 Skinner clones to take over the internet from the tongue cells left in the mucilage.

I say splurge and buy some of those self-adhesive envelopes. It would save you a boatload of trouble.
