NBC's Animated Series "Father Of The Pride" Is Being Cancelled...

Bummer! I liked it. It must have something to do with the anti-gay Born Again Christians not wanting to have gay characters in a CARTOON that's watched by CHILDREN!

But at least they plan to run the rest of the 13 episodes they originally ordered. :(

Wrong. I thought it was just plain unfunny.

So far not a single new show this year is worth the videotape they put it on.

I knew Father of the Pride was going to be a stinker the moment i saw the previews for it during the Olympics.

The first two were crap, though. But the others...any cartoon featuring a young male lion cub in the bathtub singing along to Tori Amos is okay by me. :)

blaming the Christian community as a whole for everything like this. I LOVE Father of the Pride (and Will & Grace of that helps) -- and see no reason for it to be removed from TV... it is really neat!
