I'd try 2-3 glasses of water, 2,000mg of Vit C, 3 advil, and a good multi, or at least a complete B complex, then a shower
.....uh, so I hear,....uh, I've NEVER needed to do it. Really

10. we call it the Triple S Treatment |

1) Shower 2) Shave 3) Shit 4) Then go back to bed
Basically anything you can do to purge the toxins and open up your pores help. That and lying very, very still in bed.
I read almost all of Steinbeck's 'Easat of Eden' while nursing a particularly vicious hangover one fine Sunday. Oddly enough, I remember that day with some fondness.

Stay horizontal until it doesn't hurt to sit up.
And if you have someone to do it with, as soon as you aren't nauseous from moving, your preferred sex act is highly recommended.

Peanut butter and jelly on toast washed down with a glass of milk did a good job on my underage hangovers.
These days I prefer chorizo and egg migas, or posole, and you can never go wrong with water, B vitamins, and tylenol.
(Speaking from family experience, I advise you to stay away from naproxen sodium products (Aleve, etc). They're hard on your liver, and if you drink a lot, naproxen will really put your liver through the wringer.)

If you know you're going to have a few before you leave the house, drink a glass of milk. It coats your stomach so that the alcohol isn't absorbed so easily.

|
Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 04:36 PM by Moonbeam_Starlight
right before you go to bed or pass out, take:
1. A multivitamin
2. 800 mg of Ibuprofen
Drink it with as much water as you can handle, provided you aren't about to puke.
Urinate, then out with ya.
In the morning you will NOT feel as bad, it's a sure bet.
Dang, I forgot, once you are up and not feeling queasy, have two breakfast tacos: tortillas filled with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese.
Hot sauce optional, depends on your stomach. The saltiness of that breakfast just hits the SPOT man.
