7. My mom's a squirrel charmer

She's gotten a couple of squirrels trained to come just inside the house and take nuts from her and eat them there.

The elderly man I lived next to when I was growing up used to have one that would ride on its shoulder while he was outside cleaning up the fallen nuts from his tree. He had a bag slung over his shoulder and a lemonade can on a broomstick to scoop the nuts up, and the squirrel would ride on his shoulder and eat nut after nut as he handed them to it.
