Going to be in Boulder, CO over Thanksgiving, list some activities |
|
we are visiting my in-laws with our kids in tow...what are good non-skiing activities for that time? Any cool places to see? Meeting some DUers for lunch would even be great!!

perhaps your coming to Boulder would be better since I am completely unfamiliar with the area... ( my in-laws have lived there 10 years...and I have never visited before..)

7. You could vandalize a few SUV's..... |
|
...fun for the whole family.
In the early 80's Boulder was the greatest place in America - real laid back, lots to do. Nowadays you're either going shopping or you're hiding from the horrendous traffic.

9. Yeah, downtown is pretty pedestrian friendly..... |
|
....also, if you enjoy hiking and the weather's good, you could check out Chautauqua Park....lot's of trails up by the Flatirons.

10. Drive up Boulder Canyon |
|
to Nederland, Co. and drop by the Acoustic Coffeehouse for a cup. Check to see if anyone is playing there, they host bluegrass and acoustic music. The drive up the canyon is beautiful, and Ned is a funky little town to explore. Miles of trails to hike along Boulder Creek and the Flatirons. Then there's always the Pearl Street Mall. Not a real "mall" but a closed off street with lots of eclectic shops. Check the paper for music shows if that your thing, Boulder gets some excellent music.
