1. My second grader got one from school and he wears it everyday. |
|
For him it wasn't because of Lance Armstrong, it was becasue he saw John Kerry wearing one!

I also wear an orange one that says "orange power" on it. It for allegiance to Oklahoma State University and the proceeds go to Special Olympics--a cause close to home, if you know what I mean.

5. No. I prefer not to be a Nike lifestyle sheep / clone. |
|
Lance Armstrong is a Nike spokesmodel and these bracelets are very Nikean. "Just Do It" / "Live Strong" etc.
Fuck 'em. Yes, I know our candidates wore them during the election. I just don't like them. Everyone I work with wears them. I prefer to be my own person. I didn't wear brasierres on the outside of my clothes just because Madonna did.

9. But the proceeds do go to cancer research |
|
You should buy one and just not wear it or just give them the money and not take the bracelet.

It's for a good cause even though 78 million people are wearing them. That's good since people spent money that went to cancer research but it's now just become a pop culture fad.
