Those of you familiar with last night's "bachelor chow" thread should immediately recognize this as a follow-on exhibition of my culinary genius. I got a bit fancier than the old cheese & mayo thing today, with the skillet and the oil and whatnot. The fire was under control very quickly. Didn't even have a chance to set the fire alarms off. And I still have both eyebrows. However, as a result of the incident, I remain very very hungry, and newly leery of the attitude my kitchen has towards me. Whatever shall I do?

1. Disconnect the smoke alarms?

Okay, serious now, ahem, how about a toaster over?

"Get back on the horse?"

Nevermind, I suck at serious today.

:silly:

2. Get a spoon, a bottle of tabasco, and eat what's left in the pan
Enough tabasco can make anything edible.

5. but I think
the yellow-green goo from the fire extinguisher might be toxic. I mean, I don't know this for a fact. I suppose a little bit prolly wouldn't kill me.

3. Jeesh, my smoke detector goes off after a good bong hit....
glad you're ok, but maybe you should replace that thing. Just concerned...

6. Replace my bong? NEVER!
The fire alarms have been in need of replacement since they were new. They have heat-rise sensors as opposed to just smoke detectors, with the resultant nasty side-effect of wanting to shriek at me when the heater kicks on during cool nights. Keeps me on my toes, I guess.

;-)

8. You're lucky.
My smoke detectors go off whenever I make toast. And I make my toast medium-rare!
