My DU pet peeve...DUers who, every time they start a thread, use...

ALL CAPS. GOD DOES THIS GET ON MY NERVES. ARE THEY SAYING THAT WHAT THEY ARE POSTING IS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHAT OTHERS ARE POSTING?

(SKITTLES, this doesn't include you, because you hardly ever do this. :-) )

I have done it once or twice in my two years here. Some people here, though, can't start a thread UNLESS THEY ARE POSTING IN ALL CAPS.

At least there's one good thing about all caps, whether it's here at DU or, especially, in emails - I know immediately it's a useless, barely literate message, and can ignore it.

All caps pisses me off.

They also piss me off when I go to churches and they use ALL CAPS FOR ALL THE PARTS THE CONGREGATION IS SUPPOSED TO SAY. Reading all caps is very difficult. You'd think people would realize that.

9. at the other end of the spectrum are those with run on sentences

with no caps whatsoever and they usualy have really crapy spelling they are posting a stream of consciousness that's right and for some reason they feel yes they feel it's my job to decipher it
