1. It's more difficult to quit tobacco than turkey, cold or otherwise |

3. My condolences to you... |

having gone through that many many times myself. Mine finally was successful nearly a year ago and that time he wasn't a bear at all. I guess he truly was ready. Good luck to you both!

5. Thanks. He's tried several times. Once he quit for almost 3 months. Then |
|
there was a stressful event and he went back to it. I hope it works this time. I'm really proud of him for trying again. I'm not going to nag him.

Ear plugs. When that stops working, liquor. After that, birth control?

Seven years ago, haven't smoked since.
It's "cutting down" that doesn't work.

|
it sucks but you see the pain caused by what little pleasure we get from it.Some people do the hypnotist thing and it works for them for a long time.I still smoke because it's so fucking romantic to sit in the garage.

19. Yes, and the ambiance is to die for out there, |
|
amongst the trash bags and lawn equipment and tools strewn all over the place and the general mess. And, if you're lucky, some unnamed family member has tracked snow and mud onto the step and you can sit in it.
I had to laugh. I'm there, too.

20. Yep. I also LOVED putting on sweatpants to smoke every morning. |
|
It was SUCH fun to roll out of bed in the morning and put on sweatpants for the trip to the garage for a smoke. I also was fond of freezing my nubbins off when I took a smoke break at work in the winter...
My last smoke was when they called Ohio. I'm still alive and so is my husband.
