God I hate that!
My *worst* pet peeve is the sound of people eating. Someone sitting next to me or something.. smacking and slupring and crunching...

that's the most disgusting thing, people would call while they were eating and I'd have to listen to them masticate while they talked.
It was gross. People are pretty gross when they're calling in as customers. They act like they can just shit all over you.

I feel for ya...
We had this network admin at work, that if you have a problem with your machine, he'd come over to help you and be leaning over your shoulder... and snoring..LOL.. no joke.. wide awake.. snoring.. he was this big Grizzly Adams lookin' guy. And that's just the way he breathed when he leaned over like that I guess. Wide awake. snorin'.

we're talking... then suddenly the other person says: HOLY SHIT... and then keeps exclaiming shock and wonder... and you keep asking what the fuck is going on... and they don't tell you.
Also... why the fuck do the smoked salmon packages slide it in backwards. It pisses the hell out of me.

Pretty close to the rudest things you can do.
I have a friend who loves to eat on the phone. And loves to eat carrots and other crunchy shit. That's why I rarely call him any more.
I've also gotten into the habit of just saying to people, "Well, it's obvious I've disturbed your meal, so I will call you later."
