This is so weird

Here in CT and NY which I go back and fourth to --it is incredible how many people voted for Kerry. Even though I live in Fairfield County I would say the people who voted for Kerry are four to one. When I ride the train and go into the city of course everyone I find voted for Kerry. I talk to my friends in Florida and they tell me that everyone was saying in line that they were voting for Kerry. I meet some girls from Ohio in the city who said they voted for Kerry and after I told one of their friends jokingly on the phone Ohio sucks she said everyone she knows voted for Kerry. As Seinfield would say "Who are these people who voted for Bush?"

1. Well, you can't actually *see* those people yet.
I understand that Bush carried the fetal vote by like 96-4.

4. My Alabama voting precinct is Kerry-blue
The county went red. But we went blue.

We worked hard to get the new voters out.

It worked in my little place.

A few thousand votes in the positive column for the Democrats (not just Kerry).

We won our little place of about 5000 in Huntsville Alabama.

We did it.

Yaaayyyy.

Our little voting place was deep blue. Yaayyyyy

The counts are in! We're deep, deep Blue!!!!!

We had some success in our efforts!!!!!

5. Whoa Alabama
I would have never thought that. But I actually had a waitress in Bobby Valentine's in Stamford tell me she was from Texas and in the army but was going to vote for Kerry last week.
Like I said "Who are these people?"
By the way y'all deserve a lot of credit because Kerry blue in Alabama is like a right-winger on jeopardy.

6. We worked hard, it payed off in my district
We pulled out more Dem voters than we even thought was possible.

I'm very hopeful.

Our work here actually worked, and I don't think there were any problems with voters or intimidation.

I was just telling a friend of mine; we saw an incredible amount of young people and more African-Americans than I've ever seen in my past eight years of voting in this precinct. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen more than a couple black people voting here.

And I saw something like 30 out of 80 people ( I went very, very early in the morning, like at 7:45am) and those were African-Americans.

And many of those were those that I'd knocked on their doors and was encouraging them to vote.

There were also many other white people that had never voted.

This was a tremendous win in my little voting area.

It was *very* blue.

I was so glad to see some of the African-Americans at the polling place; I've been here 8 years in the same place and have never seen this many of *my* neighbors... it was awesome
