Another SAD email from Ohio |
|
I have been VERY busy the last few days sending emails with vote counts from DU. I send them to everyone - this is an email I received back from someone on social security disability.....they think they have won - let's prove them WRONG!
xxxxx,
Sorry you don't feel that you can support our President, no matter who he is or with which party he is affiliated. Our boys in Iraq seem to feel differently. They were praying for a Bush "win" and have been writing asking me to get everyone I know to vote for him. Oh well, the matter is moot now. We do have George Bush for the next four years and I hope that this country will get behind him and give him the support he needs.
On to another subject: How are you feeling? What is going on with your cancer? I hope that it is under control. You are in my prayers.
Love, xxxx
then this.....
Official Announcement: The Democrat party today announced that it is changing their emblem from a donkey to a CONDOM because it more accurately reflects their political stance. A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you're actually being screwed.
It just doesn't get more accurate than that."

that they don't see the irony of attributing that condom silliness to Democrats.

Cut him/her off.
Friends don't act solicitous about your health one minute and then make fun of the party they know you support the next.
If you must write back, tell this "friend" that people who tell us we're fools or traitors have a lot of nerve asking us to "get behind" Bush. Then ask him/her to get back to you when we have a surplus, net job gains, world respect, and our kids in Iraq back home.

Rethugs are the nastiest people I've ever met. The pettiest, meanest co-workers I've had were all rethugs. They don't know the meanings of concepts like "nice" "tolerant" "generous" or "empathy".
They are the schoolyard bullies grown up, always looking for the chance to grind some more vulnerable individual's face in the dirt and humiliate them. I have no respect for these people.
Also, not all "our boys in Iraq" supported B*, but you'll never hear that from the corporate controlled media. I'm sure many of them are disgusted, weary, and angry.
Molly, you deserve better than hearing such crap from "friends".

And what is it that gives people who get their hands dirty for a living a predispostion towards being dildo-heads?

The Republican National Committee announced that the Republican Party is changing its emblem from an elephant to a condom. The National Chairman explained that the condom more clearly reflects the party's stance today because a condom accepts inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you are actually being screwed.
Those Idiots can not write their own , they have to steal the work of others, and change them for their own needs.

would no longer be one in my book. I tend to hang with positive people who don't stick a knife in your back when you're down. It's your decision, maybe you've known this person from childhood but with friends like these, who needs enemas.

6. You can let them know that |

"my boy" in Iraq, a lifelong family friend, was not praying, nor voting, for GWB, and neither were his friends or family. They are too busy watching developments in Mosul and praying for his safety.

I would block that person from sending me email and I wouldn't pick up the phone when they called...I mean that is just too much. They are trying to agitate a cancer patient? That is low.
I sure wouldn't give them personal health information about how I was feeling, when it is sooo obvious they don't care. I'd just block 'em out. Life is short, and we don't have to put up with this kind of crap.

I pretty much lost one of my best friends for the last 25 years over this election. He is worth about 50 mil....his vote was purely financially motivated.

10. Lots of DUers were jealous of Ohio because we were a |
|
battleground state and got to see and hear K-E , in person, many times.
I'll bet you're not jealous now. These are the people who surround us. The soldiers were "praying for a Bush win" -- oh, sure.
And people here really believe this garbage.
Go figure.
