I'm okay.... My moods fluctuate between sadness and anger with little moments of happiness. It's weird, the election results hit me harder than 9/11, and i live in New York.

Our day will come. It's hard listening to the chimperor spout off about his "political capital" but I'm trying to look at that as another gaffe, somewhat on the order of someone blurting out at the dinner table, "I'm rich."

I have a project--major in scope--that I really believe in and that I believe will help our nation. I am focused on that and helping on BBV issues over the next four years.

I know that chimp's reign isn't going to be any better than his last four years--in fact, with so many alienated, it's going to hell on earth. He's going to be sorry he cheated to win this election.

4. Much better till I talked to my son in Tennessee.

He said everyone in the line to vote was Dem and proclaiming it proudly and all the pollworkers were squeenchy-faced Republicans. I am shaking, now. I got better after I went down to help break up and clean up the Kerry Headquarters yesterday and I drove away thinking I would fight when necessary, but will not be mentally deranged over this, as Molly says, the only way to cure a chicken-killing dog is to wire his mistake around his neck.

I'm trying to be "normal" around my kids and friends so they won't think I'm a total obsessed freak, but I find myself on the verge of tears a lot and feel like I'm grieving.
I hate raw, naked power - especially when it's used to screw over the little guy. These repugs are all in it for power, greed, and all the other evil reasons that would make you steal votes.
I feel like my country has let me down (again), and these people who suposedly entered politics to help people and make the country the best it can be are nothing but criminals. The fact that our "watchdog media" is mute is one of the most depressing aspects of the whole thing.
It's like there is no one or nothing you can trust to make sure the right thing is done.

it's too fucking tents ...In 2000 i channeled all the feelings somewhere,started a heavy no t.v. or media life and painted 20 hours a day for about 3 years.Then i noticed things outside had gotten worse,my wife had been working 20 hours a day organizing the vast factions of the left.There was never a way to get away from the reality of the reality.I am going to start organizing now .
