I am Thankful that I haven't watched TV News since Tuesday evening.
My house is cleaner and my husband is.......happier.

1. I have boatloads to be thankful for
Because I work for a wonderful company and don't have any kids to serve as cannon fodder, I'm going to do fine for the next four years. I wish that were true for everyone.

Anyway, I'm thankful that someone here just posted a link to Bishop Spong so that we can start getting his newsletter and I can more intelligently counteract the Faux Xtianity that's ruining our country. It's www.johnshelbyspong.com

I'm also thankful that my Early Girl tomatoes are still bearing some fruit. Best food in the whole world.

2. I have done same thing except Daily show
and even that is too much of Bush's face. But yes, it is nice to watch a movie, cook a new receipe for dinner last night. Joined a new health club on Thursday and went swimming every day since.

I knew I couldn't handle the news this week so I haven't watched at all and I admit I did the same thing in 2000 and that was what got me through.

I am thankful the trees are pretty still around here the colors great, we are having good weather, I am in bay area CA. I am thankful I am healthy and have new job with nice people that pays good. Once in awhile good paying jobs do come. I got it through a girl who worked at employment agency and she liked that I was working for Kerry. (Also she told me that it was meant to be I went to her because other two girls in office voted for Bush and wouldn't have helped me at all!)

3. No TV news for me either . . .
. . . this, from a former news junkie! I will still tune in AAR, however.

I'm thankful for my wonderful family, friends, and neighbors, a good many of whom have similar political beliefs. My health is fine, and I have a home, be it ever so humble.

My job sucks, but at least I have one.

And I am grateful for DU, where like minds come to rant early and often.
