5. He has a mass in his liver.
He's getting an ultrasound on Tues. We can't afford any other testing. He'd been lethargic & refusing most food & water for several days, but in the last few days he's been better.

3. Last November, our cat stopped eating.
And started to lose weight. We took her to the vet and he said she had some kind of hard to treat liver disease. We kept paying him money and visiting the cat, but she wasn't getting any better.

After about a month he told us we should take her home so she could die with her family. We did and started feeding her infant food with a syringe.

Long story short, after about 3 months of intensive loving care, she started eating solid food on her own and now you'd never know that she was sick.

In fact, I'm thinking I'll have to put the fat old thing on a diet :)

6. I have a similar story with my Patchie - she wouldn't even
drink water. They did tests and could not find anything. They gave her an injection of penicillin. I brought her home - bought baby food - kitten formula - pedialyte - sat her on the counter in the kitchen and hand fed her with a syringe. She would not even drink water from a bowl. She would put her nose on it, but would not drink. I decided that she could not smell. I had injectible penicillin, so I gave her an injection every day for 4 days.

Same thing as your kid - she is fat and happy and the most spoiled rotten of all of them!

27. My favourite cat ever was named Richard the Cat.
He was not a tabby like your Richard, though. He was a bicolor gray and white. Very small for a male cat, skittish disposition. He would chase things around the house that no one else could see; sometimes they would chase him instead. I miss him lots.

Best wishes and good health for your Richard.
