Problem with my iPod.

It doesn't show up in iTunes at all. I formatted it about an hour ago. Can anyone help me?

3. I've heard other people having this problem

I *think* I recall it was a connection problem between the iPod and computer..but I don't know for sure and I'm not sure how to correct it. I'm really sorry!

but i have to press the cord into the ipod while its transferring. ill get a new cord later this week

If your iPod doesn't appear in iTunes or on your computer
If your iPod doesn't show up in the iTunes source list, on your Mac Desktop, or in the Windows Explorer, check to make sure the cable you use is securely connected to both your iPod and your computer. If that still doesn't fix the problem, try a different connector on your computer or try using a different cable. If your computer is still unable to recognize your iPod, try restarting your computer.
