4. Mopaul is a true artist

whether it was his graphics or his rants, mopaul pushed the envelope and sometimes he stopped me dead in my tracks, but the purpose of art is to provoke and he always made me think about long-held beliefs.

BTW, I haven't snorted coffee out of my nose in quite some time and it was becoming quite a regular, pleasurable sensation. Come back, mo.

10. You know what? I love Mo Paul but he got upset because his thread

was locked. Any of us that have been around a while have had a thread locked and have been asked to back off for a "cooling off" period on any of a number of topics. Mo was asked to do the same and got mad and left.

While I am more than happy to have him back, the last person I want next to me in a war is the person who picks up his jacks and leaves when his feelings get hurt.

Personally, I don't care for either end of the extremes of the "religious wars" being shoved down my throat, and I avoid those threads. I do think deliberately *tweaking* people on the subject is insensitive, especially after being called on it.

I enjoyed a lot of his other stuff too. But he doesn't walk on water.

I support diversity - controversial, educated, uneducated, political or apolitical - all of it is invaluable in a place like DU. If we don't recognize and come to understand the various thoughts and beleifs of our fellow dems, how on earth will we ever be successful as a diverse party?

MoPaul should always be welcome.

19. I've talked with MoPaul also

He has some real fundie whack jobs in his family, and is very passionate when it comes to religion. I've learned the hard way that religion is the third rail here, so, I tend to stay away from those threads now.
This is America here at DU, no fucking 1st. ammendment zones to be found here, and if you can't take the heat of someone's convictions then don't click on the thread.
Mo's probably hanging out over at Bart's now, someone should go invite him back.
