Make sure the bulb (60W or greater) has the metal bit completely submersed in a glass that's filled with water. The water will insulate the metal and prevent arcing and damage to the microwave's internal bits.
Don't heat for longer than 10 seconds, it will eventually explode -- an explosion could rip through the viewscreen in the front.
Sounds dangerous, and only I am stipid enough to try it! :evilgrin:

YOur CD-r photos last night (?) were great. YOu use an old microwave? What wattage? Describe the photo taking...

It was Orville's with lots of butter, if that is of any importance. The smoke was especially nasty and stung the eyes.
