23. I consider Ferris Beuhler one of the two worst films ever
The other being True Lies. Pathetically formulaic, cliched, and banal, they seem to have been written by advertising execs rather than anyone with a soul.

But that's just me. I actually like The League of Extraordinary Gentleman, so I have no taste.

Breakfast Club, and 16 Candles. And you must be hmm... young. And that's OK. :D

And I think you just described " The League ..."

39. Well, bad guesses
I love the Breakfast Club, 16 candles was pretty good, I love John Hughes and Molly Ringwald, and I'm 39, so I saw these films when they were fresh. Ferris Buehler sucks eggs. It stinks. The first time I saw it I started reciting lines before the characters said them, it was so predictable. "I don't like isms." blablabla. "Watch, she's going to kick the principle in the nuts!" There was not one thing original, unpredictable, or in any way significant in that movie, to me.

If you liked it, fine. But it sucked.

I think I was using that insult for at least a year...

And at one point I could recite the entire opening monologue to Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
