BOYCOTT DIEBOLD!!
Send those assholes at Diebold a message they won't soon forget.

Next time you're in the market for a personal voting or ATM machine for your household, DON'T buy it from Diebold!

Now there's a boycott with a message.
That message? You steal elections in America -- I ain't buying what you're selling, beeyitch!!

1. Damn, why didn't you tell me earlier?
I just placed an order for 200,000 Diebold voting machines for the United Federation of Messiertom's Pets annual election. Damn you for not telling us earlier!

That's $312,917,427 you could've saved me right there :grr:

4. Sarcasm?
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 02:55 AM by OrangeCountyDemocrat
I hope that's what you intended. If so, Ha Ha! Although I'm really too depressed to laugh.

But seriously, I don't think diebold needs much of anybody's business. They're in the back pocket of Shrub, which means they're already in the back pocket of us as taxpayers, since WE pay for those frickin' voting machines already. Our money goes to them, then they give back some money to Shrub, and the circle goes round again. Nice little system isn't it.

And since nobody seems to give a damn or care, I'm sure there'll be at least twice as many diebold machines come the 2006/2008 elections. god bless america, land of opportunity....for some at least.

5. Sarcasm? Oh hell no, this is too serious an issue.
I just want people to stop purchasing their personal ATMs and home e-voting machines from Diebold, that's all.

6. I Apologize
I didn't mean to say that "nobody" seems to care, because obviously there are lots of intelligent people here and on other sites who "Get It." Just that the mainstream media and most politicians thus far, don't appear interested in being bold enough to report the truth. Without them, it's going to unfortunately be that much more difficult to get this out to the public in any significant form. I don't want to feel discouraged, but it seems like we're still waiting for that Big break, which has so far eluded us.

9. An alternative spin on this...
would be to absolutely pack bank lobbies across the country for routine transactions, tie up the place arguing against the teller fee and screaming you refuse to use their Diebold ATM because you don't trust it's accuracy.

It would make for a very interesting protest.

11. I never use ATMs for transactions
I prefer keeping people employed in my bank...I have never used to card attached to this acct-which is about 10 years old.

I used to always screw up my acct with those drunken friday night withdrawals anyway...
