2. I'm already here! But...

There are actually two "Cascadias." The first one, which you link to above, is a parody site that includes British Columbia in the new "country."

However, there is a group of people, the Cascadian National Party, that are seriously proposing moving toward secession and a new nation made up of Washington and Oregon.

the part about "cheap non-union labor". Up to then it was interesting, but we don't need another Cheap Labor Country, we have that right here in the good old U.S. of A.
