Saw "The Incredibles" yesterday - Ask me anything
Great movie which shouldn't be a shocker given that Pixar made it.

Fantastic voice acting, incredible animation and a wonderful (albeit more adult) storyline should make this the first choice for anyone looking for a great viewing experience.

I wish they utilized Samuel Jackson a bit more in his role but he steals any scene he's in so I consider it a decent tradeoff.

1. Aye. Samuel Jackson's voice acting was killer.
He has the ability to combine "over the top" and "believable" when he speaks. Which is what a super hero movie needs, eh?

2. I concur.
Took my son to it on Saturday. I thought it was a great flick, and yes, a little more grown up than their previous movies.

4. How grown up?
Too much for a 6-year-old?

Parts of it were a little scary, and near the climax when things are starting to look bad for the Incredibles, he wasn't having much fun. In fact, he asked if we could go home. But I asked him if he wanted to watch the good guys win, and he said yes. And after the movie, he said he really liked it.

There IS death in this movie. They don't show it in a graphic manner, of course, but it's there so be prepared.

7. I agree that it is really excellent!
I also enjoyed the short before it - I think it was called Bounding Away?

And I got to see my first Star Wars III preview- actually looked good.
