a huge bird, which unlike the emu, actually flies.

The Jabiru Stork is a very rare bird and is endangered throughout tis range. One of the largest birds in the New World, the Jabiru stands 5 feet tall and has a wingspan of 8 feet. Its heavily bill is about 12 inches long and is perfectly designed to catch fish, frogs and snakes.

6. Emu also.
I saw it at a wildlife preserve in southern LA. It stole a hot dog from a little kid who was eating his lunch at a pcinic table on the grounds. I didn't know emus were carnivores. LOL! The bird grabbed that hot dog right off of the kid's plate!
