He justs wants to take his naps without interruption. Why are cats so wise?

2. Tell your cat that while he/she naps, the mouse
will tie his tail in a knot and then light a firecracker under his nose.

He who snoozes, looses.

8. My cats are tired of it, too!
Mommy running around screaming, disturbing their napping.

But the point about not snoozing while Rome burns is a good one, too.

Perhaps I can go about my activism a bit more quietly (around the house).

6. Yeah but they lick themselves..
and my cat only seems to have time for me when there's no food in the dish.

Meow = "feed cat" in my house. Don't get me wrong, he's 13 lbs. and he's not one of these super long cats, so he's a tubby tabby. He's always looking for a puddle of sunshine to curl up in but is just too busy with himself when he's well fed...

Bad kitty, that's my chocolate chicken pot pie.

7. because they know how to prioritise-mostly
food: when hungry or bored
sleep: when tired or bored
playing with stuff: when feeling playful or bored.

That's the secret.
