What is not well known is that Batman is also gay.
They've destroyed Frank Miller's character by 'hetero-izing' him in popular media.
(Robin in fishnets... you KNOW it!)
I remember a comic where, as Batman walks into the Hall of Justice, Green Lantern (Who can become shielded from harm by his ring instantaneously with barely a thought) says, "What's a matter, Robin gotcha sleeping in the doghouse?"
Without any indication, without missing a beat, Batman delivers a lightning-fast backfist to GL's face laying him out cold.
He knew GL could be fast, but batman is Truly Badass.
