2. Spokane...it was actually much better, but alas my digital camera...
...only does a 16 sec exposure maximum.

7. It was so beautiful last night....
...it was a bit hazy and I was in the city, but it was directly overhead and if was just stream after stream after stream of light in rays and curtains just cascading along.

It was incredible.

5. I've always wanted to see an Aurora Borealis
Not a frequent sight here in PA (although Civil War soldiers saw them as far south as Fredericksberg)

8. Here in WI it looked like the "Close Encounters" clouds
not much color, but the flashing was - breathtaking.

The entire sky was alive last night.
