7. I have seen a lot of ipod posts in some discussion sites I frequent

which are not even good attempts at covering up their intention at advertising for ipod. That's enough to turn me off.

That is not to necessarily challenge the intentions of YOUR post, but that is the new means for creating a "buzz" about a product...hiring people to talk it up.

I'm so angry about all these kinds of covert advertising schemes because it undermines our trust in one another by causing one to have to second guess another's opinion. Everything is for sale or profit.
