They are to die for.

And sadly, you can only get them at Dairy Queens in and around Texas.

They just have chicken strips here in CA.

Alas.

4. Unfortunately...
not only do they taste awesome, they literally are "to die for", artery-clogging junk, but I would kill for some right now.

2. Oh!
They are to die for!! Why did you have to post the picture. I am starving and I am still not sure if I want to order in or go out. Next time I am in Texas, I will have to find a DQ, and get that. Also, a Peanut Buster parfait. Yummy.

You know you want it. The feeling of the hot oil as it courses through your bloodstream, occasionally clumping up here and there, but today won't be the day for complete blockage - not when something tastes...this....goooooodddd......

8. Dairy Queen Texas has different foods than DQ in the rest of the country.
Most of the DQs around the country are Brazier Foods, DQ Texas isn't.

I agree that the steak fingers are damned tasty. Heart attack in a basket! :9

Watercress salad

zarusoba

lasagna

tofutti ice cream

chocolate mousse

baked salmon

DQ's steak fingers basket

All things in moderation.

I don't find steak fingers remotely appetizing.

Personally, I fail to see how that makes me a "food snob."

The DQ here (Kentucky) substitutes fries in the basket for spicy potato wedges. It's heaven.
