Last night I saw Lindsey Buckingham perform. Ask me anything.
He was taping a Soundstage show for public television.

7. One of the most underrated guitarists of all time
No one ever talks about him in the guitar mags. He rarely shows up on the lists of great guitarists. It's like people forget he exists. It's a shame. I love his playing. Sings pretty good, too - certainly MUCH better than that shrill witch he was so hung up on.

11. well, she put in an appearance too
Just for two songs. I wouldn't go so far as to call her a witch, but she appeared to be a bit "high maintenance."

Yes, he is a phenomenal guitarist. I think he is overlooked because his playing is folk-based and not blues-based.

3. New stuff or old stuff? "Go Insane" is still one of my favorites.

4. new and old
He did a great version of "Go Insane", very different from the original, kinda bluesy. He had a new song about Media Whores, called something like "Murrow Rolling Over in His Grave" (reference to Edward R. Murrow).

9. I have the mp3 of the acoustic version of "Go Insane" which I like better
than the original. I'd have loved to see that show.

5. Did he play "Big Big Love" acoustically?
That's my favorite song on their reunion album.

He really tore that one up! One of the few he did only one take of.
