There were perhaps 150-200 people gathered to hear Mr. Pitt; his talk was taped for re-air by KPFT later. Keep tuned.

Will hit the top of every wave, from Iraq pre-and post-invasion to the Patriot Act to Diebold to PNAC to OSP to fascism/corporatism to 9/11--LIHOP, in about an hour and took questions for another hour.

It was free-wheeling and occasionally raucous.

Two things I carried away: Don't the let the thugs intimidate (scare) you (and perhaps more importantly, don't let them scare those you love, or even like), and be in NY next summer for the Republican convention, because it's going to get awfully hot. Think Chicago in '68.

Afterwards he signed his book for me and the wife.

Am also enjoying the ones I bought at your store over the weekend: Living History, Thieves in High Places, and Big Lies.

but I didn't work the room, either. It's a shame because I RSVP'd to KC Dem's pool party back in the summer but was unable to attend it.

Flush_Bush, me, tXLib, GOPisEvil, and WatchWhatISay+ husband + daughter were all there.

Great crowd, and they sold all 60 copies of his book--wow!

We hobnobbed with the KPFT crowd for a bit afterwards over at some apartment in Montrose. A good time was had by all.

Too bad that we didn't meet up!
