Just watched "Curse of the Bambino" on HBO. It was bittersweet. |
|
Narrated by Ben Affleck.
It was somewhat enjoyable hearing accounts by Sox fans and seeing footage of the likes of Yaz, Ted Williams,Carlton Fisk, etc.,but then the scalding realities of their World Series failures and overall mistakes made by the team and management soured my mood a bit.
Watching the game 6 in 86 footage(Bill Buckners error),still hurts me like it did back then.
Anyone else catch it?
Do any DUers beleive in the "Curse"?

But I do remember Buckner...I was rabidly cheering for the Mets in the series and watching replays of that still hurt ME. Even if my team is winning it always is such a bummer when they show the faces of the losers, and the looks on the Sox's faces that night still kinda make me queasy. I can only imagine how you guys felt. :(
edit because I can't spell queasy, apparently :D
